A very energetic start to the week as you all demonstrated yesterday your running prowess! Some very impressive 400 m run times were put up indicating again an overall improvement in everyone’s fitness levels! A big pat on the back from your Overdrive coaches! 🙂
Today is a scheduled dot.com rest day, however, as we mentioned, the June Olympic lifting cycle will overlap with some rest days. If you feel your body needs recovery, take a rest day. If you feel okay, come in and practice lifting.
Oly WOD :
1. Power snatch + snatch @ 65% (of 1 RM snatch) x 2, 70% x 2, 75% x 2
-Perform power snatch and full snatch, then repeat for an UB set of 4 reps. Rest 3-4 min between sets.
2. Power clean + Push jerk @ 75% (of 1 RM C & J) x 5 sets, rest 2-3 min between sets.
**Students : Make sure to record all your numbers in your phone, journal, or notebook!
Cooldown : 1000 m row at 65%, then stretching.
