30-Day Paleo Challenge (Fall 2012) – UPDATE

Maybe you spent a little too much time partying at the beach this summer. Maybe you’ve gradually let the cheat meals take over and become the norm. Maybe you’ve been indulging your little weakness for those baked goods and potato chips. Whatever it is, it’s time to get back into the paleo swing of things with our Fall 2012 Paleo Challenge!

DETAILS :
Duration: Monday Oct. 15 – Thursday Nov. 15
Entry Fee: $30 to fund the prize pool.
Prizes: Top male and female will split the prize pool. Top Male and female runner-ups will receive an Overdrive Hoody from our soon to be released new Fall Collection along with a bag of Progenix Recovery drink.

TO ENTER :
Come to the box at the following times to complete your “buy-in” :
Sunday 11 am
Monday 9 am, 11 am, 4 pm, or 6 pm.
At those times, you will complete the following:
1. Pay your entry fee
2. Take your ‘before’ pictures
-Participants must have 3 ‘before’ pictures taken by a coach at the box: front view, side view and back view. Men are in shorts; women are in shorts and sports bra/bikini top.
-To be eligible to win, participants must have 3 ‘after’ pictures taken by a coach at the box. Same views / attire as ‘before’ pics.
-Pictures will remain private for the duration of the contest except for print-outs of 3 male and 3 female finalists that will be kept at the box and used to vote for winners.
-Once the contest is over, we would very much like to use before / after photos of participants to help persuade future clients to clean up their diet! We will ask about your preferences on this at the beginning and again at the end of the contest — we hope you’ll help us out!

DURING THE CHALLENGE :
We encourage everyone to participate and socialize on our Paleo Challenge Facebook page, sharing your recipes, experiences, body changes, mood swings, performance results, etc. Make it fun and interactive!

PALEO POT-LUCK :
We will have a pot-luck dinner in the box lounge on Friday November 2 at 8 pm, right after the last class of the day. We ask everyone contribute a paleo dish(we did this the last paleo challenge and it turned out to be one of the best dinners I’ve ever had…lots of good cooks and recipes!)

We will be providing a Paleo hand-out containing simple guidelines to follow.
