Great job Overdrive as the Games Open is now complete. With over triple the amount of competitors worldwide than last year, and double the amount of teams entered in Canada West, our Team Overdrive finished in 36th place out of 60 teams. Not a bad effort at all as many team members were going through this for the first time, not to mention some are still quite new to this sport of fitness! We know what we have to work on and definitely have lots to look forward to next year! I feel very proud of all of you and am honored to have been able to coach and train with you sharing laughter and good times throughout. I hope that everyone was able to gain valuable experience by joining in on the biggest worldwide sport of fitness competition. Congratulations to you all on a job well done! Now let’s get back to normal life around the box.
On another note, our very own Vanessa, aka V-Fung, in China working as a teacher, qualified for the Asia Regionals by finishing 6th overall in the Open! She was very courageous in performing some WODs on video submission and some by way of visiting an affiliate in Hong Kong for validation. Way to go V and way to get it done! We wish her all the best of luck in Regionals as she has a very good chance at qualifying for the Finals in California!
The Canada West Regionals will be April 27-29 at the Olympic Oval and they will be needing more volunteers which is a great way to participate in the event. More information on volunteering will be posted at the box.

**Reminder that the Annual Members Meeting is this Wednesday at 7 pm. Attendance is very important!
