Welcome to a brand new year 2012! We will have lots going on right off the starting blocks this year to gain us enough momentum until the spring time. First of course, all eyes are on the Paleo Challenge that will start Jan.9 running for 6 weeks. We will also be cheering on a handful of Overdrive athletes as they prepare for the Crossfit Olympic Lifting competition on Feb.4. They are Viktor, Jessie, Ryan, and Jacky. If you are still interested and want to give it a try, come and see Coach M as registration is not closed until the end of January. The new year will also be dedicated to listing Crossfit resolutions and trying to achieve them with the help of your coaches. (Please write them down and hand in to coach’s den) Shortly after the Paleo Challenge finishes, the Crossfit Games Open will begin! Whether you are an elite athlete or not, we encourage everyone to try it out and see where your fitness ranks worldwide! Last year, Overdrive placed two female athletes in the top 50(out of over 300) in Canada West and Team Overdrive placed 9th out of 32 teams at the Regionals!
Overdrive programming will be featuring the strength system once again as we aim to help everyone achieve Stronger, Faster, and Fitter status!
