What is the Vancouver Cup?
This event began with a modest start in 2000. Each year, it has seen great success and growth by pulling together North American fighters and giving them the opportunity to gain experience and develop new friendships. The 10th Anniversary Vancouver Cup is expected to host top fighters from Montreal, Los Angelas, BC, and Alberta. The event will put Kyokushin Karate, a traditional fighting style, on display for the Vancouver community. These world-class competitors will have a chance to showcase their courage, skill, and fierce determination in a knock down tournament.
Overdrivers competing will be Michi(2008 Middleweight Champion) and Kris(2008 Heavyweight Champion). They are both having career years with an improved dedication to their overall fitness and expect to do very well in this year`s tournament.
GOOD LUCK TO MICHI AND KRIS! WE WILL BE CHEERING YOU GUYS ON THIS WEEKEND!
